Bujanovac – The Bujanovac Teachers Association (BTA) announced that it would start implementing the project entitled "Violence Has No Excuse" on November 13.

Medvedja – The municipal organization of pensioners from Medvedja opened the Pensioners Club in Sijarinska Spa.

Belgrade - The plan of cleaning and maintaining roads over the coming winter was adopted at the meeting of the Center for Emergency Situations of the municipality of Bujanovac, while the job was entrusted to the “Saba Belca” company from Presevo.  

Medvedja – The local self-government in Medvedja hired 20 persons for public works, who would, until the end of the year, maintain public hygiene, help the elderly and socially disadvantaged persons, and take part in the rehabilitation of the protective zone of thermal springs and the quay in Sijarinska Spa.

Bujanovac – The “Kolo” folk ensemble, which is the oldest folk ensemble in Bujanovac and which was established under the name of "Polet" in 1932, celebrated, along with its guests, 85 years of its work and existence by holding a large concert at the Bujanovac community center.

Medvedja - After a short delay due to unresolved property relations, works on the Medvedja  bypass road, the worth of which is 20 million dinars, restarted, the local self-government said. 

Belgrade, Presevo - Maja Gojkovic, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, reached a decision on calling elections for members of the Municipal Assembly in Presevo on December 24. The decision was made pursuant to the Law on Local Elections and the Law on Local Self-Government.

Bujanovac – The project documentation for reconstructing the building of the Basic Court in Bujanovac, which was done in 2015, is still waiting for potential donors, so that a study on increasing the usable space and on enhancing the functionality of the existing building could be implemented.

Мedvedja -The Government of the Republic of Serbia, by means of a parliamentary decree, declared Radan Mt. a new national park. A public presentation on Radan Mt. was held in the presence of representatives of the local self-governments of Medvedja, Lebane and Bojnik.
