The first meeting of the reconstructed Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja should be held as early as sometime this week, following the last Friday’s signing of an agreement on the reconstruction of the body, which representatives of the Albanian political parties from South Serbia rejoined after two years.

FOCUS ON SOUTH SERBIA

Vranje – A group of 35 national and international journalists was on a three-day visit to the Pcinj district until yesterday. The group consisted of professional print and electronic media journalists from Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Austria, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria and the Media Department of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, аs well as from domestic information houses, such as RTS, B92, Prva, Tanjug, Beta, Politika, Blic, Vecernje novosti and representatives of the Executive Committee of the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (IJAS) and Media Center from Belgrade.

ALBANIAN REPRESENTATIVES IN THE COORDINATION BODY AGAIN

BELGRADE, 27. March – The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Government of Serbia Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Municipalities, Milan Markovic, Member of the Serbian Parliament, Riza Halimi, and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Hans Ola Urstad, signed the Agreement on Principles of Reconstruction of the Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Municipalities.

During the first few months of the year, the factory of furniture casings from Presevo was giving priority to the production of export goods, while specific types of couches and beds were made for the domestic market as well. During the said period, the most produced goods were furniture casings for “Simpo” furniture factories, as well as for the mattress factory from Bujanovac.

New Donations from the Ministry of Agriculture to Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja

The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Sasa Dragin, and Director of the Coordination Body, Nenad Djurdjevic, visited Bujanovac on March 17th, where they delivered donation of seedlings for further distribution to citizens of Presvo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

The construction of Corridor 10, the investment in the infrastructure of 40 undeveloped municipalities and infrastructure-related support to development of the car industry in Kragujevac are the most important projects into which almost 8.2 billion dinars will be invested from the national Investment Plan (NIP) this year.
