THE ACTIVITY OF PUTTING UP ELEVATORS FOR DISABLED PERSONS IN BUJANOVAC

At the end of November 2011, 38 young persons, who are involved in the Youth Build Serbia project, started putting up elevators for disabled persons (EDP) at the entrance of the health center in Bujanovac.  This group of young people undergoes a three-month training, which is a part of the Youth Build project. The training is provided in the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac by the Civic Initiatives organization.

“SIMPO“DELIEVERS GOODS WORTH 20 MILLION EURO TO “IKEA”

Vranje – The Vranje-based company “Simpo” and the Swedish “Ikea” company agreed that “Simpo” would export in 2012 to “Ikea” goods worth 20 million euros.  The goods to be exported are mattresses and furniture parts.

SCHOLARS PAYING A VISIT TO THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Ten male and female scholars, who are, through the “Internship Program for Members of Ethnic Minorities”, going to acquire new knowledge and experiences at the institutions of the Republic of Serbia over a six-month period, visited the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, where they were received by Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, the Speaker of the National Assembly.

PUTTING OF A WATER SUPPLY IN THE BUJANOVAC REGION INTO OPERATION

Bujanovac – On December 10, 2011, Verica Kalanovic, Serbia’s Vice Prime Minister responsible for economy and regional development, paid a visit to Bujanovac, where she attended the commissioning of a water supply system that provides water supply to around 20,000 citizens of the region.

OMBUDSMAN’S OFFICE OPENED IN BUJANOVAC

The Protector of Citizens’ Office was opened today in Bujanovac, which is the first such office outside Belgrade.

TEN BEST STUDENTS TO VISIT THE STATES

Owing to support of the local Youth Office, the young from Bujanovac and Presevo, along with their colleagues from Valjevo, Sabac and Loznica, were selected, this year, too, to be partners in an exchange program with the US.
