Vranje –  In February 2013, the "NEXUS" NGO from Vranje begen implementing the project "Facilitating Access to Health Care for Roma Communities in South Serbia". The project is financed by the “CARITAS“ Foundation from Luxembourg,  while the project activities will be conducted in Vranje, Vranje Spa and Bujanovac from February 2013 to January 2014.

Vranje – The implementation of the project "Private Sector Development in South Serbia" began in September 2011 and it will be running until October 2014. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC and it is implemented by the Regional Agency for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship VEEDA d.o.o...

Bujanovac, Novi Sad – At the 80th. International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, the Alliance One Tobacco Company presented, for the seventh time, the annual "Golden Tobacco Leaf" awards to the best tobacco growers for the achieved quality of tobacco in the past year.

Over the next three days (from May 28 to 30, 2013), representatives of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Leskovac will be providing technical support to all interested business entities that wish to apply for the competition announced by the Office of the Coordinating Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for subsidies to small and medium-sized enterprises and agricultural cooperatives.

Bujanovac – The Council of Europe’s delegation, led by Sara Button, spent yesterday in Bujanovac, where its members spoke with the mayor of the municipality of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, as well as with the mayors of Bujanovac and Medvedja, Ragmi Mustafa and Slobodan Draskovic.

The "United Student Parliaments in the Promotion of Human Rights" project is implemented by the Educational Center from Leskovac in the area of ​​the Jablanica and Pcinj Districts, or in the municipalities of Leskovac, Vlasotince, Lebane, Bojnik, Medvedja, Crna Trava, Vranje, Vladicin Han, Surdulica, Bosilegrad, Trgoviste, Bujanovac and Presevo. The project’s duration is 12 months.

Among the unemployed in Vranje, there are as many as 542 persons with university degrees, who are mostly economists, teachers, lawyers and pre-school teachers.

Leskovac – The Football Association of Serbia launched the project "My School, My Club".
