CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON THE MEDVEDJA BYPASS ROAD RESUMED

6. November 2017.

Medvedja - After a short delay due to unresolved property relations, works on the Medvedja  bypass road, the worth of which is 20 million dinars, restarted, the local self-government said.

Dragan Kovinic, the head of the branch office of the “Trace PZP” company from Vranje, which is the contractor, said that the company was doing its best to complete the works on time, or 60 days from the beginning of works, because of the upcoming cold winter months.

The complete road infrastructure, which includes water supply, public lighting, sewers and storm sewers, is being done.

The rain, which was falling over the past few days, soaked the ground, but we hope that it will dry up, so that we could comply with the work schedule that was agreed with representatives of the local self - government, "the head of the construction site said.

The project is funded by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja in the amount of 11 million dinars, while the remaining part of the project financed by the municipality of Medvedja, which is the project investor.
