Presevo – Sciprim Arifi, the Head of the Interim Body of the municipality of Presevo, perceives extraordinary local elections, which are called for December 24, as an opportunity to “send the old political elite, which has held Presevo hostage for 27 years, into retirement by means of the citizens’ votes, so that Presevo could pursue a new policy.   

Vranje – Over the past weekend, a total of 12 journalists from 10 editorial offices in the Pcinj district mastered the skills of writing projects and made themselves capable of applying to the media calls for applications in the future.

Bujanovac – The 17th “Diligent Hands” event began yesterday evening at the Bujanovac “Vuk Karadzic” community center with the exhibition of the Albanian national cuisine dishes from Bujanovac and the surrounding area, which had been prepared by six industrious housewives.  

Bujanovac, Belgrade - Saip Kamberi, the Mayor of Bujanovac, met yesterday in Belgrade with Axel Dittmann, the German Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia. According to the official Facebook page of the municipality of Bujanovac, Mayor Kamberi familiarized the German diplomat with the political situation in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo.

Medvedja - Dragan Sormaz, the Head of the Hunting Association of Serbia, attended the meeting of the Association of the Jablanica Hunting District, which was held in Sijarinska Spa.

Vranje, Bujanovac - Students of the Albanian nationality of the Subotica Faculty of Economics’ Department in Bujanovac were awarded certificates of knowledge of the Serbian language, which were given to them by the Adult Education Center (AEC) from Vranje.

Bujanovac - Ali Aslani, the Chief of Staff of the Center for Emergency Situations of the municipality of Bujanovac, said that the team of counter-miners from the Belgrade-based “Saturnija” company, that has been exploring the terrain contaminated with ordnance in the northern part of the municipality since October 20, had not, so far, found any explosive devices.  

Bujanovac - 40 workers are redundant in the Bujanovac municipal administration and public enterprises, while streamlining, which is long overdue, will begin by adopting a new decision on the maximum number of employees.

Leskovac –“It is unacceptable that our people in South Serbia can listen to Radio Timisoara, and cannot to Radio Belgrade.
