The Red Cross of Serbia, in cooperation with the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, invites male and female citizens of Serbia, especially those over the age of 65, to apply for the competition "Life in the Era of the Corona: How Did You Spend Your Time in Isolation?"

QUESTIONNAIRE: THE EXTENT OF SOCIAL INTEGRATION OF NATIONAL MINORITIES IN SERBIA

Belgrade – The Institute of Social Sciences is conducting a survey on the integration and exercise of the rights of national minorities in the Republic of Serbia. The survey is based on scientific methodology and it was carefully prepared over a long period of time. The respondents, who shall remain anonymous, are to do it on a voluntary basis and their personal data shall be protected.

BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN AT COMMUNITY CENTER

Bujanovac – The Bujanovac Red Cross Office organized a voluntary blood donation campaign in the hall of the Community Center. 39 residents of Bujanovac participated in the campaign by donating the "precious liquid".

ROMA NATIONAL COUNCIL: THERE IS NO CORONAVIRUS IN ROMA SETTLEMENTS

The National Council of the Roma National Minority said for the Association of Journalists of Serbia’s column “Citizens Want Journalists to Ask” that the situation in Roma settlements during the coronavirus epidemic was satisfactory and that there were no coronaviruss-infected persons.

MEDVEDJA WITHOUT MARKETS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Мedvedja – The Emergency Management Staff of the municipality of Medvedja, which, based on an assessment of the epidemiological situation in the municipality of two days ago, reached a decision that markets would start operating this Thursday, today ordered that the ban on the operation of all green markets in the territory of the municipality be continued until further notice.

CLASSES IN PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN SERBIA WILL BE COMPLETED ON MAY 31

Belgrade - Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic said classes in primary and secondary schools in Serbia would be completed on May 31.  He told the Prva Television that lectures at the faculties would be completed around May 15 and classes for primary and secondary school graduates on May 25.

THOSE WHO WANT 100 EUROS MUST APPLY BY PHONE OR ONLINE THROUGH THE TREASURY DIRECTORATE PORTAL

Belgrade - The 100 euros promised to every adult citizen of Serbia, as a form of economic aid to alleviate the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, will be received automatically by pensioners and social assistance beneficiaries from May 15, while the rest of the citizens will have to declare whether they want it by phone,” Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said.

MINISTER SARCEVIC: KINDERGARTENS MAY START OPERATING AS OF MAY 11, PARENTS’ CERTIFICATE OF THEIR GOING BACK TO WORK NEEDED

Belgrade – As part of relaxing the state of emergency measures, Minister of Education, Mladen Sarcevic, announced the beginning of operation of kindergartens as of May 11, then how it would be easier for parents with children of up to 12 years old to go to work, but also how primary school final exam and entrance exam for universities would be taken.
