With reference to a public competition for the posts of the Coordination Body’s Offices Clerks in Presevo and Bujanovac, which the Coordination Body’s Office publicly announced in October 2007, please be informed that after considering a great many CVs and conducting interviwes with the short-listed candidates, the Coordination Body’s personnel recruitment board, on January 17, 2008, decided to engage Mr. Seljami Bektasi for the post in Presevo and Mr. Driton Redzepi for the post in Bujanovac. The Coordination Body’s Office would like to thank to all the applicants for the posts for being interested in working for the Coordination Body.

January 17, 2008 - Donation of the Office of the World Bank in Serbia

Thanks to a donation of the Office of the World Bank in Serbia, the Coordintion Body handed over four computers to the following NGOs in South Serbia: two computers to the "Neighbors for Peace" NGO in Bujanovac, one computer to the "Green World" NGO in Presevo and one computer to the "Cultural Center" NGO in Medvedja.

On January 11, 2008, a water-supply system was ceremoniously put into operation in the local community of Trejak, which is situated in the municipality of Bujanovac. Mr. Rasim Ljajic, Minister of Labor and Social Issues and Director of the Serbian Government’s Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, along with Nenad Popovic, PhD, Deputy President of the Coordination Body and Mr. Nenad Djurdjevic, Director of the Coordination Body’s Office, Mr. Sima Gazikalovic, Head of the Team for the Implementation of Coordination Body’s Projects in Bujanovac and Mr. Branko Delibasic, Head of the Team for the Implementation of Coordination Body’s Projects in Presevo, attended the opening.
