SERBS AND ALBANIANS PUT UP A MONUMENT TO THE DECEASED NEIGHBOR TOGETHER

Bujanovac, Decani – The Decani-born Zoran Petrovic and Radovan Milosevic, who initiated the action to put up a monument to the recently deceased last Serb in Decani, Bosko Ciric, at the Orthodox cemetery in that town, said that several Albanians from that town had joined the action, the “Beta” news agency reported.

Bujanovac – There will be no more floods and sewage spills in the center of Bujanovac, Ruzdi Halili, the Director of the PE "Komunalac", promised to the citizens, after another flood in the center of Bujanovac caused by rain.

RESIDENTS OF BOZINJEVAC STILL WITHOUT WATER, STREET LIGHTING AND GARBAGE CONTAINERS

Bujanovac - Almost a year since the Municipality of Bujanovac signed a contract with a local company for the construction of a booster station, which would bring water to about fifty households in the village of Bozinjevac, the agony of the locals continues, because there is nothing but a gaping hole in the place planned for the booster station.

THIS YEAR, THE NUMBER OF ILLEGAL WORKERS IN THE JABLANICA DISTRICT HAS BEEN REDUCED

Leskovac – In the first eight months of this year, as well as in the same period last year, the labor inspection performed almost the same number of about 1,300 illegal labor inspections in the area of Jablanica district. Last year, about 300 illegal workers were identified, while there were only 80 illegal workers this year, according to the data of the Department of Labor Inspection for the Jablanica district.

The Balkan Civil Society Development Network has launched a call for ad-hoc support, which is an instrument established to provide fast funding for the immediate needs of CSOs or for innovations to improve the scope of civil society when there is not enough time to work through the standard grant award process.
