Belgrade - The "Center for Democracy and Development of South Serbia" NGO from Leskovac organized a roundtable on cultural needs of young people from the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja at the Media Center in Belgrade.

Medvedja - 2,500 of the total of 7,000 residents of the multinational municipality of Medvedja receive aid from the Red Cross, the humanitarian organization said.  As it was specified, 2,000 beneficiaries receive food packages, while others get meals at the soup kitchen, which operates nine of the 12 months of the year.

Presevo - A premiere of the films made as part of the one-month workshop of the School of Animated Film (SAF) from Vranje was held at the Reception Center in Presevo.

Medvedja – Yesterday, Alexander Chepurin, the Russian Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia, handed over to the Health Center in Medvedja an ambulance, which had been provided by the Russian Humanitarian Mission in Nis.

Medvedja – Yesterday evening, the 20th in a row "Geyser Evenings" event officially started in Sijarinska Spa in the presence of numerous visitors. The event was opened by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja.

Belgrade - Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar said that electronic prescriptions would be introduced soon and that chronic patients would not have to have appointments with their doctors every two months in order to get their prescriptions.  

Belgrade – The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, as a national focal point for the EU program "Europe for Male and Female Citizens", informs all interested parties that the second call for project proposals, as part of the measures for Twinning of Cities and City Networks, has been issued. 

Bujanovac, Presevo – Today, Bujanovac and Presevo will get notary public offices, so that the residents of those two cities will be able to have all the affairs related to that sphere, such as certification of contracts, done in Presevo and Bujanovac, instead of in Vranje.

Bujanovac – The Srpka kuca- Levosoje stretch of the road,  on the southern branch of Corridor 10, the length of which is  8.06 kilometers, will be completed this November, said Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

Bujanovac – Zorana Mihajlovic, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Coordination Body for Gender Equality, said that, for the purpose of preventing violence against women, a national SOS telephone line should be introduced, as well as panic buttons at the centers for social work.
