SOUTH MORAVA RIVER RISING

Vranje, Trgoviste - Over the past few days, around 100 liters of rain per square meter fell in the wider area of South Serbia, which led to an increase in the level of the South Morava River and of the local tributaries, but for the time being, there is no threat of floods.

COURSE IN SERBIAN HELD IN BUJANOVAC AND PRESEVO

Bujanovac, Presevo - The second generation of beneficiaries of a course in Serbian received certificates after taking the final exam. The course beneficiaries include young Albanians from Bujanovac and Presevo, whose knowledge of Serbian is a requirement for being admitted at Novi Sad University’s faculties.

CLUSTER BOMBS REMOVED FROM PRESEVO

All unexploded cluster bombs left over from the NATO intervention in Serbia in 1999 were removed from the municipality of Presevo, said Emil Jeremic, Director of the Norwegian People's Aid NGO.

MILITARY DOCTORS EXAMINED CIVILIANS IN MEDVEDJA

Medvedja – As part of the civil-military cooperation, doctors and medical technicians of the Healthcare Department of the Third Army Brigade, undertook the "Military Doctor in the Village" activity in the local community of Djulekare, which is situated in the municipality of Medvedja.

CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOUSE FOR SIX TWIN GIRLS STARTED

Medvedja – The construction of a new house for six twin girls from the village of Gazdare, which is near Medvedja, began. The six twin girls were born over the period of only 28 months. The money for the house was collected through a large humanitarian activity, while a portion of the funds was donated by the “Spik kaza” company from Ivanjica.
