Presevo – The “Save the Children” organization donated to the Presevo Reception Center a playground for the children who, on their refugee route, end up at that center. On an area of ​​250 square meters, which is covered by genuine grass, there are jungle gyms, slides, seesaws, swings, as well as five benches. 

Bujanovac – Yesterday evening, around 2,500 people attended the iftar dinner in the center of Bujanovac, in Karadjordje Petrovic Square. The iftar dinner was organized by Istanbul’s municipality of Bajram Pasa, and was attended by the believers from Bujanovac and Presevo, as well as the Mayors of Bajram Pasa and Bujanovac, Atila Ajdner and Saip Kamberi.

Bujanovac - Dragoljub Kostic, a mechanical engineer from Vranje, was appointed the Director General of the Bujanovac-based “Megal” company for the third time. The decision on appointing that businessman once again for being at the forefront of the successful metal company was reached at the most recent meeting of members of the “Megal” Shareholders' Committee.

In late 2006, the Government of the Republic of Serbia signed with the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark the Memorandum of Understanding, under which the Republic of Serbia, through the implementation of the Program of Local Economic Development in the Balkans (LEDIB Program), was provided non-refundable financial assistance.

Belgrade – Goran Vesic, the City Manager, hosted yesterday at the Old Palace children from the “Mladost” pre-school institution from Medvedja, who were paying a one-day visit to Belgrade. Pointing out that Belgrade didn’t belong only to Belgraders, but also to all citizens of Serbia, Goran Vesic welcomed the youngest residents of Medvedja:

Presevo - Serbia and Macedonia signed yesterday in Belgrade five protocols, whereby the establishment of a common railway station in Tabanovci was made possible , which would significantly reduce travel time by train and customs procedures on the border between the two countries.

Bujanovac, Presevo, Medvedja – The vaccination of cattle against the nodular dermatitis or lumpy skin infectious disease began in the municipalities of Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja last Friday afternoon and it ended on Sunday, when a breakdown of the cattle, which had been vaccinated until then, was prepared.

Bujanovac – The “Civic Initiatives” NGO organizes in Bujanovac a public presentation of a new youth project "The Knowledge and Proactivity of Young People Lead to New Jobs" on the premises of the Municipal Club for Human and Minority Rights at 11 am on Thursday, June 30, 2016. The project is funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.

Presevo – The International Day of SOS Children's Villages was observed, yesterday, by a series of events in Presevo, Belgrade, Nis and Obrenovac.

As part of the “Solidarity” program of urgent assistance, yesterday's date was marked in Presevo at the One Stop Centre in that city, where an art workshop for the children accommodated at the said center was organized, as well as a presentation of the current SOS Children's Villages’ projects for representatives of partner organizations.
