250 EUROS PER YEAR OF SERVICE OF THE REDUNDANT IN BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac - 40 workers are redundant in the Bujanovac municipal administration and public enterprises, while streamlining, which is long overdue, will begin by adopting a new decision on the maximum number of employees. According to Boban Pavlovic, the Head of the municipal Department of Finance, the said decision should be adopted at the next session of the Municipal Assembly, which will be held next week.

“The maximum number of workers in the public sector should be reduced to 467. We have started talking with the workers, primarily with those who are eligible for retirement, as well as with those who would be eligible for retirement after two years spent on the labor market, "Mr. Pavlovic said.

He also said that up to 30 workers would leave in that manner, while a social program was ready for the others.

"The social program, which includes 250 euros per year of service, or a maximum of 6, 000 euros, has been offered, and there are workers interested in such an option.”

Apart from the municipal administration, streamlining will be done at the public enterprise ”Komunalac”, the “Mladost” sports center, the Tourist Organization of Bujanovac, the “14.novembar” library, the" Vuk Karadzic " community center and the "Nasa Radost " preschool institution .
