MAYOR KAMBERI WITH AMBASSADOR DITTMANN IN BELGRADE

Bujanovac, Belgrade - Saip Kamberi, the Mayor of Bujanovac, met yesterday in Belgrade with Axel Dittmann, the German Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia. According to the official Facebook page of the municipality of Bujanovac, Mayor Kamberi familiarized the German diplomat with the political situation in the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo.

Also discussed at the meeting was the potential continuation of the cooperation between the German humanitarian organization "HELP" and the Bujanovac local self-government. According to the statement posted on Facebook, the importance of integration of Albanians in state institutions was also a topic discussed at yesterday's talks.

"Ambassador Dittmann, as a representative of the most influential country in the European Union, expressed interest in encouraging and monitoring the process of improving the rights of national minorities on Serbia’s path to the European Union."

“Germany is a key factor of stability in the Balkans", it was said at the end of the statement.
