The Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Branko Ruzic, invited the towns and municipalities to apply for funds from the City Fund and reminded that the deadline for applying expired on April 1st. 

Under the Exchange 5 Program, the competition for packages of support in the field of property management was issued, which is funded by the European Union from the IPA 2014 funds.

A public call for providing support to local self-governments for the establishment of advisory services for the citizens has been published. With a fund of 262,500 US dollars, the Swiss government will, through the Swiss PRO program, support the local self-governmental units (SGU) to set up citizen advisory services aimed at gaining better access to the rights for at least 5,000 citizens coming from vulnerable groups.

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announced a public call for grants from the budget of the Republic of Serbia for co-financing the preparation of planning documents in 2019.

Мedvedja – A four-member student team from Medvedja developed a unique business plan for the production of organic food in greenhouses that would be irrigated throughout the year with warm spring and medicinal water from Sijarinska Spa, which now flows into the spa river.

Bujanovac – Luka Mitrovic, a student of Bujanovac primary school "Branko Radicevic", received the prize for the best presenter and speaker at the event called "Competition Days of Young Innovators and Entrepreneurs," which was held in Vranje.

Bujanovac – Improvement of communication with the Roma community, provision of institutional sustainability and the financing of operational plans of mobile teams are more than necessary to increase the social inclusion of Roma in local communities, is the connclusion reached at the meetings held in March with mobile teams for social inclusion of Roma from Vranje, Bujanovac, Leskovac and Prokuplje. 

Bujanovac, Presevo –  The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia will conduct a trial census of the population, households and flats in April.

Medvedja – A constructive meeting was held at the office of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Vanja Udovičić, with representatives of the municipality of Medvedja, headed by the President of that municipality, Nebojša Arsic.

Bujanovac - On the occasion of the World Day of Forest and on the first day of spring, children from the extended stay of the "Branko Radicevic" primary school planted trees in the school yard.
