Amendments to the Law on Financial Support to Families are expected by the end of the year. Apart from property status, the criterion for financial assistance includes the regularity of schooling.

Presevo – Over the past weekend, the Office of the Human Rights Committee in Vranje conducted the monitoring of migrants in the territory of Presevo and Bujanovac.

Presevo, Bujanovac – The “Green Key” association from Nis implements the project "Edu Caravan 2", which is dedicated to the children of tobacco producers from the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac. The project is financed by the "Philip Morris" company, because it wants to invest in the communities in which their tobacco growers live and work.

Vranje – Wheat harvest began on about 16,000 hectares of fields in Pcinj district, of which 40 percent is arable land in the territory of Vranje.  Nada Lazovic Djokovic of the Agricultural-Advisory Office in Vranje says that after the rainy weather, farmers from the district couldn’t wait for the sun to warm up the fields and for the wheat harvest to begin.
