Young artists and creative people from Serbia are invited to come up, until August 31, with the original solutions for the visual identity of the Seventh International Green Culture Festival "Green Fest".  This year's "Green Fest" will be held under the slogan "One Day on Earth" at Belgrade’s Youth Centre from November 15 to 18. 

Presevo – For the time being, there is no larger inflow of migrants in the region of Presevo, on the Serbian-Macedonian border. The reception centers in Presevo and Miratovac are ready to accommodate the new wave of migrants, should it occur.

As part of the new 2016-2020 Program of Territorial Cooperation between Serbia and Macedonia, the Office for European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Self-Government of the Republic of Macedonia, is organizing one-day public consultations. 

The Centre for Social Innovation and Integration issued a call for the selection of the best photo on the theme of "Social Inclusion." The aim of the call is to promote the need for social inclusion through photography, which is one of the most powerful and fastest means of disseminating information and ideas.

Medvedja – Milica Stankovic and Dajana Jankovic, students of the generation, received from the local self - government pecuniary prizes in the amounts of 20,000 and 30,000 dinars, respectively, along with the congratulations and wishes to continue receiving excellent school marks.

Vranje - Children from the Pcinj district, the winners of the Youth Sports Games (YSG), which were held in Vranje on June 10, will participate in the national finals in Belgrade.

Belgrade – Under a decision adopted at the session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia two days ago, joint teams of police and army would be sent to the Serbian-Macedonian and Serbian-Bulgarian borders, whose task would be to prevent the illegal entry of migrants and to bring smugglers in human beings to justice. 

Mt.Zlatibor - At the initiative of the Head and brotherhood of Hilandar Monastery, and under the auspices of the Municipality of Cajetina, 280 schoolchildren of the Vranje eparchy (Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja and the surrounding villages), the eparchy of Raska and Prizren (Kosovo and Metohija - Vitina-Klokot) and the eparchy of Dalmatia (Knin, Kistanje with the environment) are staying on Mt. Zlatibor in the period from July 13 to 20, 2016.  

The KfW German Development Bank extended to the Republic of Serbia a EUR 100 million loan for financing agriculture, energy efficiency, renewable energy and municipal infrastructure.

Medvedja – The famous Serbian theater, film and television actress Ljiljana Stjepanovic will perform at the Medvedja community center at 8 pm on Monday, July 18. As stated by the said cultural institution, the visit is only the prelude to the upcoming “Geyser Evenings” event, which is to be held in Sijarinska Spa.
