SCHOOLCHILDREN FROM PRESEVO, BUJANOVAC AND MEDVEDJA STAY ON MT.ZLATIBOR

Mt.Zlatibor - At the initiative of the Head and brotherhood of Hilandar Monastery, and under the auspices of the Municipality of Cajetina, 280 schoolchildren of the Vranje eparchy (Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja and the surrounding villages), the eparchy of Raska and Prizren (Kosovo and Metohija - Vitina-Klokot) and the eparchy of Dalmatia (Knin, Kistanje with the environment) are staying on Mt. Zlatibor in the period from July 13 to 20, 2016.

According to Milos Stojkovic, the Commissioner of Hilandar Monastery, this is one of the largest Orthodox camps for Serbian children, which was in previous years, while it was taking place in Greece, helped by the municipality of Cajetina. This year the camp is taking place on Mt. Zlatibor for the first time, and numerous daily activities were designed for the purpose of making the schoolchildren’s stay as interesting as possible.

The municipality of Cajetina, with the support of the JP "Ski Resorts of Serbia", the Tourist Organization of Mt. Zlatibor, the Tourist Organization Gostilje, the Open Air Museum "Staro Selo Sirogojno" and the “Avatura” park on Mt. Zlatibor, will organize daily tours for children, as well as visits of tourist sites in the municipality.
