CALL FOR APPLYING FOR BEST PHOTOGRAPHY ON "SOCIAL INCLUSION"

20. July 2016.

The Centre for Social Innovation and Integration issued a call for the selection of the best photo on the theme of "Social Inclusion."

The aim of the call is to promote the need for social inclusion through photography, which is one of the most powerful and fastest means of disseminating information and ideas. The call is aimed at social inclusion of all those that have somehow been rejected and excluded by society (the disabled, the poor, members of ethnic and other minority communities ...).

Eligible to apply are all interested amateur and professional photographers, whereas photos can be taken by a photo camera or a mobile phone, while respecting the minimum quality standards outlined in the regulations of the competition.

Authors of the photos are given the artistic and creative freedom to develop the contents of the photos themselves, so that the importance and meaningfulness of social inclusion would be presented as effectively as possible. The main guideline for the photos is that they must be cheerful and positive in character, since the center wants to shift the topic of social inclusion from “grayness and darkness”, which is how sensitive social issues are presented in public.

The competition runs from July 15 to August 26, 2016.

The prizes for the authors of the first three photos are vouchers for 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000 dinars for purchasing technical equipment. The announcement of winners and reward-giving ceremony will be held on August 28, 2016.

All necessary information is available on the Centre’s page www.facebook.com/csiikg/ or through csiikg@gmail.com.
