Presevo – The Leader of the Party of Democratic Action (PDD) Riza Halimi said that it was decided at a meeting that the party would participate in the parliamentary elections scheduled for March 16.

Bujanovac/Presevo/Меdvedja – The leaders of five Albanian political parties decided to boycott the upcoming early parliamentary elections. The stance on the issue isn’t unchanging, since the Party for Democratic Action (PDA), which is led by Riza Haljimi, will reach a decision on its possible participation in the elections on Monday, February 10.

Bujanovac – The Ambassador of Finland to Serbia, Pekka Orpana, talked in Bujanovac with Mayor Nagip Arifi on the participation of the Albanians in the parliamentary elections scheduled for March 16, 2014, the local media reported.

The President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, said that he expected that leaders of the Albanian political parties from South Serbia would decide whether they would vote in the early parliamentary elections by the end of the week.

Presevo – The out-patient maternity ward in Presevo was fully renovated and all the necessary equipment was purchased. The gynecology ward is on the ground floor of the renovated part of the building, while two rooms for labor and a stationary block are on the first floor.

Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja urged the Albanians living in the three municipalities to participate in the upcoming early elections and thus take part in the government.
