CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOUSE FOR SIX TWIN GIRLS STARTED

15. May 2012.

Medvedja – The construction of a new house for six twin girls from the village of Gazdare, which is near Medvedja, began. The six twin girls were born over the period of only 28 months. The money for the house was collected through a large humanitarian activity, while a portion of the funds was donated by the “Spik kaza” company from Ivanjica.

This family is going to have a proper house with rooms and bathrooms in a month and a half.  Construction workers have already dug the foundation of the house and have filled it with concrete, after which they will begin putting together the house, the area of which is 80 square meters.

„ It has always been my dream to build a house for my family, but I couldn’t do it because I’m poor.  Thanks to the good people, our children will, from now on be able to live like all other children”, said Branislav Kovinic.

His spouse Maja said: “I still can’t believe that all this is happening. I will remember the beginning of this year all my life, because, after having lived really hard, things suddenly began changing for the better for us.  I’m thankful to all the humane people for their help”.

„ These children will be able to move into their rooms in the first week of June and then we will all have a celebration. It will be a very beautiful and functional home, which will last for a long time, "said the director of" Spik kaza” Milic Spasojevic.

The local self- government in Medvedja is willing to assist the family in matters related to the legalization and the issuing of the necessary permits.
