SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS PAYING A VISIT TO THE COORDINATION BODY

22. December 2011.

On Wednesday, December 21, 2011, eleven scholarship holders, who are students of Novi Sad University, paid a visit to the Coordination Body.

The Coordination Body has been running the program of providing scholarships to the young from the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo since 2011, so that they could acquire university education in a multiethnic environment such as Novi Sad. The scholarship holders, who are the first generation of students since the launching of the program, talked about their thus-far experience of living in Novi Sad with Danijela Nenadic, the Director of the Coordination Body. All of them managed to get used to the new environment and, most importantly, to make a great many friends and to achieve good results during the first three months of their studies. Students from the Albanian community succeeded in mastering Serbian, which facilitates communication with their fellow students, the taking of their classes and the passing of their tests and exams.

The students of Novi Sad University are faced with another challenge, since the first examination period awaits them. Director of the Coordination Body reminded them that they wouldn’t be able to achieve any results without working hard, and she wished them luck at the forthcoming exams.

The Coordination Body shall strive to provide in 2012 even a greater number of scholarships to the young from the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo that are interested in studying at Novi Sad faculties.
