5. February 2011.

The “Concert for Nevena” play of the association “Zapisi” was performed at the “Vuk Karadzic” community center in Bujanovac at the end of January 2011.

The play was performed in Presevo, Medvedja and Trgoviste, while it was performed twice in Bujanovac, because the people were extremely interested in it.

The play deals with a group of young people who dream about establishing a music group. Each of them is talented for some musical instrument, but they don’t have a singer. That is why they organized an audition, in which mostly beautiful girls without good enough voices participated. Nevena stood out at the audition, because she was quiet, withdrawn and not as pretty as the other girls. Because she wasn’t pretty enough, she wasn’t given a chance to show her talent. In an unexpected turn of events, a fairy helps Nevena to defeat her insecurity and she, thereupon, becomes a member of the music group. As a token of gratitude for having found the right person and being able to have their own music group, members of the music group organized a concert for Nevena. The music group has been very successful ever since then.

The “Concert for Nevena” is a play for teenagers and dream-believers who are involved in making their dreams come true.

The performance of the “Concert for Nevena” play was enabled by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
