SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM BUJANOVAC AND PRESEVO VISITED NOVI SAD

A group of 88 secondary school students from Bujanovac and Presevo spent this Friday and Saturday in Novi Sad. The visit was organized by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja and by the Provincial Secretariat for Education.

HEALTH CAN’T DEPEND ON ETHNICITY

The village of Gramada, which is situated in the ground security zone, is regularly visited only by doctors from the Vranje-based 4th Brigade of the Army of Serbia. When their jeeps arrive, elderly women, although limping, come out to the gates of their houses to greet and meet them. Afterwards, in low- ceiling rooms where they both sleep and eat, since those are the only rooms that are heated, they readily stretch out their hands, so that their blood-pressure could be taken and they put the received boxes with medicines on their window sills.

40 COMPLAINTS PER DAY FROM BUJANOVAC, PRESEVO AND MEDVEDJA

Bujanovac – The Office of the Republican Protector of Citizens for Bujanovac, Presevo and Medvedja receives from the citizens around forty complaints per day. The complaints most often refer to the operation of state administration and to the exercising of rights to the old-age pension and disability insurance.

“HEBA” HAS A LARGER OUTPUT

Bujanovac – “Heba”, the mineral water and fruit juices industry, the majority owner of which is the “Nektar” Company from Backa Palanka, produced 43 million liters of mineral water and fruit juices in 2010, so that the company’s output in 2010 is by 5 per cent larger than the one in 2009.

THE TOTAL OF 125 MILLION DINARS FOR PRESEVO

Presevo, February 16, 2011 - On the occasion of visiting Presevo, Milan Markovic, Minister for Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja said that in 2011 up to 104 million dinars would be earmarked in the Coordination Body’s budget for the municipality of Presevo.

A CONCERT FOR NEVENA

The “Concert for Nevena” play of the association “Zapisi” was performed at the “Vuk Karadzic” community center in Bujanovac at the end of January 2011. The play was performed in Presevo, Medvedja and Trgoviste, while it was performed twice in Bujanovac, because the people were extremely interested in it.
