Bujanovac – The first of the two planned bus stops in Bujanovac got a bus shelter with seats for the passengers waiting for buses. It is a bus stop on the corner of Karadjordje Petrovic Street and Kosovska Street.

Bujanovac – The newspaper article under the title of "A Truly Unique Business" by Nikola Lazic, the editor of the Bujanovac portal, published in the Vranjske weekly, where Mr. Lazic is also an editor, is one of the six nominated newspaper articles for the annual award for investigative journalism, which has been, for twelve years in a row, awarded by the Independent Journalists’ Association of Serbia (IJAS), with the support of the US Embassy.

Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja - Aleksandar Vulin, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, said that it would soon be know how large the increase of salaries and pensions would be, and added that the decision on increasing the minimum wage must be made by September 15.  

Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body, will visit the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja on May 3 and 4, where he will meet with the Presidents of the three Municipalities, as well as with the leaders of the Serbs. 

Bujanovac – The finalists of the quiz "Europe, It's You" from the southern and eastern Serbia, which is implemented by the EU Progress program, include the "Knights of Health" team from the “Saint Sava” secondary vocational school from Bujanovac, the team from Prijepolje grammar school, the "Ambassadors" from Novi Pazar grammar school and the "Green Wall" from the “Bosko Krtic” secondary technical school from Bojnik.

Bujanovac – The young Red Cross volunteers from Bujanovac completed a three-day training in the voluntary blood donation, which was organized at the Red Cross resort in Mitrovo polje  from April 21 to 23. 

Presevo, Bujanovac - Defense Minister Zoran Djordjevic, accompanied by the Deputy Commander of the General Staff Major General Slavoljub Janićijević, visited the Joint Police and Army Forces deployed to protect the state border with Macedonia, the Ministry of Defense said.

Мedvedja – As part of the setting up of tourist signs and signposts on all key areas of importance for the development of tourism in the municipality of Medvedja, employees of the Tourist Organization of Medvedja  put up a  billboard "Protect Nature - Leave it Clean”  at the crossroads of Sijarinska Spa, on the main M9 road.
