WHY DO I LIKE BUJANOVAC

21. June 2010.

As part of the project “The Achievement of Tolerance and Integration by Means of Journalism”, which was implemented by both the “Crescent” and “Center for Tolerance and Integration of South Serbia” organizations from Bujanovac and which was funded by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, leaflets “Why do I like Bujanovac” were printed.

Participants in the project wrote essays about why they like their birth city. These essays are available on the Coordination Body’s website, while the two organizations, which had implemented the project, published the leaflets containing the essays. Last weekend, young Serbs, Albanians and Roma, who had participated in the project, as well as members of partnership organizations, distributed the leaflets to residents of Bujanovac in the pedestrian area in the city center.

By publishing the leaflets, the “Crescent” and the “Center for Tolerance and Integration of South Serbia” organizations wished to emphasize the advantages of living in a small city, as well as to show how young people perceive the town in which they live.
