WHAT IS SAFETY IN SOUTH SERBIAN TOWNS LIKE

Predejane – An analysis of the safety situation in thirteen municipalities of the Jablanica and Pcinj districts show that South Serbia’s residents are most apprehensive about drug – addiction and request that the issue should be solved.

Extremely important to them are also increased safety in traffic, a decrease in violence and better zoo hygiene. Svetislav Paunovic, the coordinator of the “Safer Cities” project, said that all the above-mentioned conclusions would be brought forward at the national conference, which is going to be held in Belgrade at the end of the month.

The project was implemented by the Educational Center, whereas it was supported by the PBILD program.

Every municipality in the Jablanica and Pcinj districts is going to get from the PBILD program up to a million dinars for taking the activities related to the increased safety project.
