VOLUNTARY PAYMENT OF FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSES INTENDED FOR FAMILIES IN MEDVEDJA

Medvedja – All those who want to donate funds for the construction of houses in the Municipality of Medvedja, which are intended for large families living in difficult conditions and for young married couples, can pay the funds into the bank account number 200-3220000101002-46, which was opened after the agreement reached by the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs Zoran Djordjevic and the Bishop of Nis Arsenije, with the blessing of the Serbian Patriarch Irinej.

This action was launched on the occasion of the Year of Solidarity and Cooperation, with the aim of strengthening families and improving the living conditions of the citizens.

Minister Djordjevic, Bishop of Nis Arsenija and President of the Municipality of Medvedja Nebojsa Arsic decided to each donate one salary for the construction of the houses.

"In this way, we want to help those who live in difficult conditions and encourage them and their families to stay in Serbia. I believe that other humane people will recognize the importance of this idea and will give their contribution, "the Minister pointed out.

The implementation of the humanitarian campaign will be monitored by the commission that is in charge of ensuring all the necessary conditions and performing supervision and control.
