Меdvedja - In order to determine the number of "Help at Home for the Elderly" trainees,  a meeting with interested participants was held at the hall of the Health Center in Medvedja.

Ivana Kovinic, the Project Manager, said that the training would last five days, three days the theoretical part and two days the practical one. Following the training, the participants shall take the exam, while the best trainees will receive the certificates, which will make it possible for them to provide assistance to the elderly not only in the country, but also abroad.

"There are currently twenty people in Medvedja who are interested in undergoing the training and I am satisfied with the response of the people that would be providing assistance to the elderly. The training will be conducted after January 25, and we will soon know who the trainers will be”, Ivana Kovinic said.

The project is funded, through the EU Progress program, by the European Union, the Swiss Government and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, while it is part of the regular activities of the Office for Poverty Reduction.
