TRAINING TO COMBAT VIOLENCE AND DISCRIMINATION AGAINST LGBT PERSONS - HOW CAN WE JOINTLY DO MORE?

The “Egal” association invites you to a three-day workshop that will be held in Nis from November 19 to 21, as well as in Novi Sad from November 26 to 28.

The workshop is aimed at members of civil society organizations, informal groups and activists dealing with human rights issues, protection of persons who have experienced violence and discrimination, support systems and cooperation with institutions on these issues from all over Serbia. The work program will be tailored to the different levels of knowledge, interests and target groups you work with.

Throughout these three days, action and interactive techniques will be used to work together on identifying real-world issues of human rights and protection against violence and discrimination, with an emphasis on the LGBT community. Also, the existing support mechanisms at national and local levels and the lack thereof, as well as the ways in which one can contribute and help in such situations, will be discussed.

The training organizer covers all travel and accommodation costs.

The email should include: your first and last name, the name of the organization/informal group you come from, the town you come from, as well as a brief explanation of why you would like to participate in the workshop. Seating is limited.
