Bujanovac –  The Army of Serbia stated that a check of the readiness of units of the Army and the Training Command for participating in the United Nation’s mission in Lebanon had been held in the training center of multinational operations units.

The four-day evaluation exercise of the infantry company of the Second Brigade of the Army and the protection company of the units of the Training Command, called "Serbian Shield 14", took place at the “Jug” military base and at the "Borovac" training grounds near Bujanovac.

During the exercise and during the preparations for sending the aforementioned units to the UN mission in Lebanon, the infantry company and the protection company worked in the conditions similar to those in Lebanon, while "incidents" at the exercise were fully adjusted to the situations in which members of the Army of Serbia could find themselves during the execution of their tasks in the zone of operation.
