Мedvedja - Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, and Goran Ivanovic, the Deputy Mayor,  visited the works on the renovation of curbs and pavements in Jablanicka street.

The value of the investment is estimated at 5.6 million dinars, excluding VAT, while the works are performed by the "Investprodukt" DOO company from Lebane.

Mayor Arsic says that this is "the beginning of construction, urbanization and tidying up of Medvedja".

He said that the square in front of the community center, as well as the building of the municipality of Medvedja, would be completed by the end of the year.

He also said that the facades of residential buildings would be renovated, as well as the gazebo, the complex close to the Orthodox Church and the monument to the fallen soldiers, and that a park with green areas would be constructed in the very center of Medvedja.

He says “extensive construction works were launched during the year, with the intention of making Medvedja a pleasant place for the life and work of its inhabitants," and that "the local self-government shall continue to insist on the projects that are the benefit of all its residents."
