THE PENSION AND DISABILITY INSURANCE FUND ADOPTED A NEW RULEBOOK, FREE STAY IN SPAS IN THE FUTURE ONLY ONCE

Belgrade - If it were not for the COVID 19 pandemic, most retirees would already know where and which spa they can go to at the expense of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund.

However, as things stand now, the competition for free rehabilitation in spas will be issued when the health and safety requirements have been met for the elderly to exercise this right.

This is exactly what the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund confirmed, adding that there are a lot of novelties when it comes to the social standard of pensioners. Namely, by the new rulebook, which came into force on June 11 this year, the right to free rehabilitation in one of the spas in Serbia can be exercised only once during the period of receiving a pension.

According to the previous rulebook, every pensioner who has not used this right for five years could apply for free rehabilitation. So, in the future, pensioners will only be able to go to the spas once.
