THE NEW PEDESTRIAN ZONE IN BUJANOVAC WILL BE COMPLETED IN OCTOBER

Bujanovac – “The works on the new pedestrian zone, which began earlier this week, will be finished in the next 30 to 40 days, "said Enver Ramadani, the Head of the Investments and Development Department of the municipality of Bujanovac.

According to him, 8.4 million dinars - 3 million dinars from the Ministry of Tourism and 5.4 million dinars from the municipal budget, which is part of the 112.5 million dinars that Bujanovac received from the Coordination Body, will be invested in the project.

"The works will be completed quickly because we prepared everything on time. We should have started earlier. We delayed the launch of works due to the request of the shop owners in the street who asked us to wait until the summer season ends, "Mr. Ramadani said.

Upon completion of the project, traffic will remain virtually unchanged.

The contractor that does the works on the pedestrian zone is the “Saba Belca” company from Presevo, while the works are supervised and controlled by the Traffic Institute CIP from Belgrade.
