THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEDVEDJA GOT AROUND 7.5 MILLION DINARS FOR POPULATION POLICY

Medvedja – The municipality of Medvedja is going to receive 7,444,170 dinars from the national budget for the implementation of the population policy measures, while 1, 978, 830 dinars will be provided from the local budget.  

Milan Stevanovic, President of the Municipal Assembly of Medvedja, signed an agreement on the matter with Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, Minister without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, who is in charge of demographics and population policy.

The total approved funds amount to 9,423,000 dinars.

This agreement provides for the measures and activities for reconciling work and parenthood through the employment of young people by way of non-financial support for beginners in business and grants for stating and improving start-up businesses followed by increasing the availability of pre-school education, promotion of healthy lifestyles through the development of public green, sports and recreation areas and playgrounds, the preservation and improvement of reproductive health and addressing the problem of infertility.
