THE LINE FOR PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC SUPPORT TO CITIZENS DURING THE PANDEMIC HAS BEEN RE-OPENED

30. July 2020.

Belgrade - The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications once again assigned the telephone line 19833 to the Association of Psychotherapists of Serbia so that citizens would be able to receive free assistance during the corona virus pandemic, said State Secretary Tatjana Matic.

On the line, which belongs to the National Contact Center for Child Safety on the Internet, the volunteers of the Association will answer the calls of the citizens who have psychological problems during the pandemic every day from 3 pm to 9 pm, and give advice and provide support.

The National Contact Center will also provide advice on strengthening the safety of children on the Internet on the same telephone number and receive reports of endangering children online.

The citizens will choose the option to talk to the representatives of the Center or to the volunteers of the Association, the State Secretary said.

All information about the National Contact Center for Child Safety on the Internet, as well as advice on online safety, are also available on https://pametnoibezbedno.gov.rs/, while more information on psychotherapeutic support by calling 19833 is available on  http://savezpsihoterapeuta.org/korona-virus/.
