THE EU DELEGATION TO SERBIA SELECTS 10 PANDEMIC-RELATED HEROES AT THE COMPETITION (DEADLINE: JUNE 11, 2020)

The Delegation of the European Union to Serbia has launched a call for the selection of 10 heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic, while anyone who in any way facilitated the life of the citizens during the pandemic may be nominated.

“The heroes are volunteers, shop-assistants, neighbors, distance teachers, police officers, your aunt, uncle, parent or the postman who, in spite of everything, brought you an important letter during the pandemic that affected the entire world," it was said in the text of the call.

The EU Delegation invited the citizens to propose the heroes and the way they want to thank them, fill in the application form, share it via social networks and invite their friends to vote, while 10 selected heroes will receive two plane tickets to one of the European Union countries. Apart from the prizes for 10 heroes with the largest number of votes, gift packages have been prepared for all participants in the competition.

To whom would you like to say “well done” and “thank you for your solidarity, courage and support”? Submit your filled-in application form and thank your hero. The form in which you can do that is free, such as a photo, a song, a few sincere words of gratitude, a drawing or in some other creative way of expressing gratitude. Please remember that you can submit several applications and thus nominate several heroes.

The organizer of the prize-winning competition is the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia.

The prize competition was opened on May 22, while applications can be submitted until June 11. The voting lasts until June 15, while the announcement of the winners is scheduled for June 17 at the latest.
