THE"CAUTIOUS WOLF 19" EXERCISE STARTED AT THE "JUG" MILITARY BASE NEAR BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac – Following the opening ceremony , the "Cautious Wolf 19" international exercise stated at the military "Jug“ base near Bujanovac. The exercise will be held from May 13 to 24, the Ministry of Defense stated.

Around 200 officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Army of Serbia and the 18th Brigade of the Military Police of the European Command of the Armed Forces of the United States of America participate in the exercise.

At the opening ceremony, the Head of the exercise, the Head of the Military Police Department of the Land Command, Colonel Miroljub Petronijevic, wished the participants a successful performance of the exercise, which is being held in the "Jug" military base and at the "Borovac" training ground.

"The multinational exercise"Cutious Wolf “, by its scope and content, is, along with the “Platinum Wolf” exercise, one of the most complex exercises at which units are trained for the participation in multinational operations,” said Colonel Petronijevic and added that the" Cautious Wolf " exercise was being held for the first time that year.

According to him, the specific characteristic of that exercise was reflected in the training of members of the Military Police Units of partner countries, supported by other units of the Army of Serbia.

The aim of the exercise, the theme of which is the Multinational Strengthened Military Police Company in the Peacekeeping Operations, is to promote interoperability and mutual understanding among the partner countries' military forces at the tactical level during peacekeeping operations in a multinational environment.

Upon the ceremonial opening of the exercise, members of the Military Police of the Army of Serbia organized a tactical-technical show of their weapons and equipment.
