SWISS DELEGATION VISITED THE RECEPTION CENTER IN PRESEVO

Presevo - The delegation of the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration, led by Director of the International Cooperation Secretariat for Migration Urs von Arb, visited the Temporary Centre for Registration and Reception of Migrants in Presevo.

The Swiss officials underscored that they were impressed by Serbia’s efforts to provide all necessary assistance to the people in need.

The delegation met with Aleksandar Vulin, the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, who pointed out that Serbia would continue behaving responsibly and in accordance with the decisions implemented by the European Union.

So far, Switzerland has provided one million Swiss francs for the solving of the issue of mixed migration flows in Serbia, while, as part of the Strategy for the Regional Migration Partnership, 10 million Swiss francs will be available to the Western Balkans over the next four years.
