Peter Due, a Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for monitoring the political situation in Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija and Macedonia, and Irena Vojackov - Soljorano, a UN Resident Coordinator in Belgrade, visited yesterday the municipality of Bujanovac for the first time.  

During a meeting with the mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, they discussed the political and economic situation in the municipality of Bujanovac.

"We discussed with Mr. Due the political and security situation in the region and in the municipality of Bujanovac, while we talked with Mrs. Vojackov - Soljorano about economic development, as well as about the continued implementation of PBILD program, the implementation of which is funded by the United Nations. The implementation of PBILD 2 program should begin in March next year, "said Mr. Arifi.
