SIX CANDIDATES FOR MPs FROM SOUTH SERBIA

Bujanovac/Presevo - According to the Republican Election Committee (REC), the municipality of Bujanovac has five candidates on the thus-far announced MP lists for the upcoming parliamentary elections, while Presevo has one. 

The potential MPs from Bujanovac were nominated by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), the New Democratic Party (NDS) and the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), while the potential MP from Presevo is on the list of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).

On the SNS’s MP list, under number 148, is Nenad Mitrovic, the President of the City Board of the SNS in Bujanovac, on the DSS’s MP list, under number 227, is Slavoljub Ristic from Bujanovac, while under number 188 on the NDS’s list is Boban Pavlovic from Bujanovac. 

The SRS has two candidates for MPs from Bujanovac – Jovica Stojmenovic, under number 110, and Gordana Tasic, under number 219. 

The only candidate for an MP from Presevo is Kujtim Sadriu, who is the only Albanian on the so-far declared MP lists. He is on the LDP’s list, under number 148.

Participation in the parliamentary elections was also announced by the Party for Democratic Action (PDD), which is still in the process of collecting signatures of support, whose leader Riza Halimi announced that it would submit a list of ten candidates for MPs.
