SING UP FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE “EUROPE FOR CITIZENS” PROGRAM

The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Republic of Serbia, as a national contact point for the European Union’s program "Europe for Citizens" in Serbia, invites representatives of civil society organizations and local self-governments from the territory of the Republic of Serbia to the presentation of the program "Europe for Citizens."  
The presentation will be held at 10.30 am on January 25, 2016, in Belgrade (Palace of Serbia, Eastern Wing, Room 368). In the period from 2016 to 2020, the priorities of the "Europe for Citizens" program will be including a variety of topics relevant to the immediate past and the contemporary context of the EU and our region, and they provide a great opportunity for the participation of interested parties from Serbia. The current call for proposals for all measures of the Program is open until March 1, 2016.

The aim of the presentation is to introduce new priorities of the "Europe for Citizens" program, as well as its composition and the experience of implementers of projects from Serbia that were carried out under the Program.

Signing up for participation in the event is done electronically on marina.tadic@civilnodrustvo.gov.rs, not later than 1 am on Friday, January 22, 2016, including a note "Signing Up for the EFC Presentation – Belgrade."

In the case of a large number of those who signed up and because of the limited capacity of the room, priority will be given to civil society organizations and local self-governments that haven’t  participated in the previous meetings of the Office that were dedicated to the program. 

The general objectives of the ”Europe for Citizens” program include contribution to the understanding of the European Union, its history and diversity, as well as the promotion of European citizenship and civil and democratic participation at the EU level.
