24. December 2013.

The Coordination Body’s Office is going to organize free classes in Serbian for the fifth to the eight grade students at the village of Biljaca (municipality of Bujanovac). The language classes are part of the "School of Serbian for the Youth from the Albanian Community," which is being implemented for the second year with the support of the British Embassy. On Saturday, December 21, 2013, the students of the primary school "Desanka Maksimovic" took the test for determining their current knowledge of the Serbian language. The students will be divided into groups based on the demonstrated knowledge.  Serbian language classes will be held twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, on the premises of the local community. Serbian language teachers will be in charge of teaching the language, while assistants from the local community will help them.

The teaching of the Serbian language to the students of the elementary school was facilitated by the association "Dituria" from Biljaca, whose members are school teachers.

Serbian language classes will begin on January 20, 2014. Beneficiaries of the language school will be notified about the schedule of the classes on the website of the Coordination Body and on the bulletin board of the "Desanka Maksimovic " elementary school.

Serbian language classes will last until April 2014.
