"SAINT SAVA" SCHOOL HAS 30 VACANCIES IN THE SECOND ROUND OF ENROLMENT

9. July 2019.

Bujanovac – 88 students were enrolled in the Bujanovac secondary school "Saint Sava" in the first round, while there are a total of 30 more vacancies for the courses for financial administrators, machine technicians and chefs. At the same time, the course for nurses - teachers is already filled up.

"It was to be expected that fewer students would enroll than it was predicted by the initial quota of 120 students, but now the second round is to follow and the number of newly enrolled students will surely increase," said School Director Biserka Jovic.

The unassigned eight graders will hand over their lists of wishes for the courses for which there are still some vacancies on Tuesday (July 9).

"In our school, there is a vacancy for one more student for the course for financial administrators. When it comes to engine technicians of motor vehicles, the quota has been reduced, so there are 16 additional vacancies, since 11 students have been enrolled so far. 17 students have enrolled in the cookery course, so that there are still 13 vacancies there”.

It was expected, as the School Director says, that a 30-student course for nurses-teachers would be  immediately filled up, so that there are currently no more vacancies there.

"We will probably have the final number of enrolled students on Wednesday, July 10, but it is also possible that some of the students who failed to take the elementary school final exam in June would decide for attending our school after the final exam in August," Ms.Jovic said.

According to the initial plan, there were vacancies for 120 primary school graduates, or 30 students per each of the 4 educational profiles or courses.

The quota for the machine technicians course was subsequently reduced by 3 vacancies.

Out of 88 newly enrolled students, one student will attend classes in accordance with a special program.
