RED CROSS OF SERBIA PROVIDED AID TO VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BUJANOVAC AND PRESEVO

Belgrade - The Red Cross of Serbia provided, today, aid to the population affected by floods in Bujanovac and Presevo. 

According to the statement issued by the Red Cross of Serbia, the aid consists of 170 family hygiene packages, 170 liters of concentrated disinfectant, 130 pairs of rubber boots and six sets for maintaining collective hygiene. The population also received aid in the form of 300 pieces of water cans, 120 blankets, 83 sets of tools for whitewashing walls, 40 packages of food, three rolls of plastic sheets and 200 bottles of hand disinfectant. 

The Red Cross of Serbia also provided aid in equipment, which consists of 25 electric water pumps, 25 wall-drying devices and five mud pumps.

The aid was provided on the basis of the needs of the vulnerable population, while it will be handed out by the Red Cross organization’s branches in the flood-affected areas.
