PUBLIC INVITATION TO LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTAL UNITS AND CITY MUNICIPALITIES TO GET FUNDS FROM THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY BUDGET FUND (DEADLINE: DECEMBER 2, 2019)
The Ministry of Mining and Energy launched a public call for funding from the Budget Fund the Improvement of Energy Efficiency in order to finance projects in the field of energy efficiency in 2019 in local self-governmental units and city municipalities, JP 2/19.
The aim of the public call is to improve energy efficiency in the facilities of public importance, or to modernize the public lighting systems, which is the responsibility of local self-governmental units and city municipalities.
The distribution of funds from the Budget Fund for Project Financing will be done in two phases. In the first phase, the collection and completion of calls for proposals will be performed, as well as the control of formal correctness and completeness of applications, evaluation of projects on the basis of public invitation requirements and adoption of an act establishing the list of project sequences. In the second phase, depending on the funds available in the Budget Fund, a document on the financing of selected projects will be adopted, grant contracts will be signed and projects will be implemented.
Local self-governmental units and city municipalities have the right to apply.
The call was published in the “Politika” daily on October 30, 2019.
Applications should arrive at the records office of the Ministry of Mining and Energy (Kralja Milana 36) and be stamped with the receipt seal until December 2, 2019 by 3 pm.
