PUBLIC DEBATE ON THE PROPOSAL OF THE PROGRAM FOR THE REFORM OF THE LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM IN THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA WITH THE ACTION PLAN FOR THE PERIOD FROM 2021 TO 2023

The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government is carrying out a public debate on the Proposal of the Program for the Reform of the Local Self-Governmental System in the Republic of Serbia with the Action Plan for the 2021-2023 period.

The public debate on the Program Proposal will be held in the period from March 1 to 22, 2021.

The Ministry calls on representatives of the competent state bodies, bodies of the autonomous province, bodies of local self-governmental units, experts in this field, the business and civil sector, the non-governmental sector, the academic community, as well as other interested parties, to take part in the public debate and provide their comments, suggestions and proposals.

During the public debate, comments, suggestions and proposals can be submitted to the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government by e-mail to the address jelena.tomasevic@mduls.gov.rs  or by mail to the address: Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Birčaninova 6, 11000 Belgrade -  with a note on the envelope "Proposal of the Program for the Reform of the Local Self-Governmental System in the Republic of Serbia with the Action Plan for the 2021-2023 Period”.

In addition to the comments that will be sent to the Ministry in writing, two online meetings will be held within the public debate, on March 10 and March 17, 2021, both starting at 12 o'clock noon.  All interested participants should sign up for the meetings by sending an e-mail to jelena.tomasevic@mduls.gov.rs  no later than two days before the beginning of the meetings, so that the access data could be submitted to them in a timely manner.

Upon the public debate, the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government will analyze all comments, suggestions and proposals of the participants in the public debate and prepare a report on the conducted public debate within 15 days from the end of the public debate, or no later than seven days before submitting the report to the Government for consideration and decision-making, publish it on the website of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and on the E-government portal.
