PUBLIC DEBATE ON THE BUDGET: MOST FUNDS EARMARKED FOR THE OPERATION OF THE MUNICIPAL ADMINISTRATION

Bujanovac - Of 1.165 billion dinars, which is the projected budget of the municipality of Bujanovac, nearly 198 million dinars were earmarked for the operation of the Municipal Administration.

This was said at a public debate on the draft budget of the municipality of Bujanovac for 2018, which began at 6 pm on Tuesday in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Economics with Mayor Saip Kamberi’s congratulations to all those who celebrated St. Nicholas Day.

Mayor Kamberi explained that the councilors would discuss the budget, the proposal of which was adopted by the Municipal Council, on Thursday, December 21 at the meeting of the Bujanovac Municipal Assembly.

The budget for next year will, for the first time, exceed one billion dinars, and will amount to 1,164,500 dinars.

Mayor Kamberi said that 407.5 million dinars had been allocated from the budget for investments.

Boban Pavlovic, the Deputy Mayor and the Head of the Department of Finance, said that the budget had been done in accordance with the instructions supplied by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia.
