PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBMITTING PROJECTS RELATED TO THE PROGRAM OF SUPPORTING BUSINESS INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT IN 2021

The Ministry of Economy has launched a public call for submitting projects related to the Program of Supporting Business Infrastructure Development in 2021, for the implementation of which funds in the amount of 1,007,940,000.00 dinars have been provided.

The said amount of funds has been set for the implementation of:

1) Measure for infrastructural equipping of business zones and connecting business zones with the environment

2) Measure for improving infrastructure capacity with the aim of developing tourism and other economic activities.

The project applicant is a local self-governmental unit in whose territory the implementation of a specific project is planned, and if the project is implemented by several local self-governmental units, the project applicants are the local self-governmental units that jointly implement the project.

The goal of the Program is to improve the development potential of local self-governmental units by providing favorable conditions for attracting investments, improving the economic environment and creating new jobs.

The Ministry of Economy participates in the financing of the projects in a certain percentage depending on the level of development of the local self-governmental unit:

1) Up to 100% of the project value without VAT for the local self-governmental units from the fourth and third development groups;

2) Up to 60% of the project value without VAT for the local self-governmental units from the second and first development groups.

Regarding the level of development of the local self-governmental unit, the valid single list of development of the region and local self-governmental units at the time of submitting the project proposal is applied.

The deadline for submitting the project proposal is 15 days from the day of issuing the public call in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", or from January 18, 2021.

The project is to be submitted with the application form, along with all the necessary documentation listed in section seven of the public call.
