PUBLIC CALL FOR AWARDING GRANTS AS PART OF THE SUPPORT TO THE INTERNATIONALISATION OF COMPANIES, ENTREPRENEURS AND CLUSTERS

The Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) announced a public call for grants under the program of support to the internationalization of companies, entrepreneurs and clusters in 2016. The program is implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia, in cooperation with the accredited regional development agencies.

Funds from the program are intended for co-financing the costs of the provider’s services for the following activities: the new design of products and packaging; the improvement of the existing and the development of new technological processes; the improvement of the existing and the development of new products for foreign markets; testing of new products; participation in international fairs abroad and the testing of foreign markets.

Large companies and clusters can apply for only two types of activities: participation in international fairs abroad and the testing of foreign markets.

A business entity or cluster may submit only one application for grants.

Eligible to receive the funds are micro, small, medium-sized and large enterprises and entrepreneurs, as well as clusters, which cumulatively meet the requirements of the competition.

Funds can’t be used for the programs that are implemented in: the military and the tobacco industry, trade, agricultural production, the financial sector, the sector of services that aren’t the subject of international trade and the organization of games of chance and lotteries.

Funds are awarded in the amount of 50,000.00 to 1,000,000.00 dinars for companies and entrepreneurs, depending on the activity, while the cluster resources are allocated in the amount of 100,000 to 2,000,000.00 dinars. When it comes to participation in trade fairs, the companies will be awarded the grants of up to 600,000.00 dinars if they haven’t exported the goods so far, or up to 1,000,000.00 dinars if they have already exported the goods.

Based on the contract concluded with the beneficiary of the funds, the DAS will reimburse the amount of up to 50% of the total justifiable costs of the project without VAT. The funds will be refunded to a business entity upon completion of the project and submission of the report and evidence on the completed activities.

The public call will run until the funds have been spent.
